We're here to help you!

The AMLDB database is a comprehensive resource that provides researchers with access to a wealth of data related to acute myeloid leukemia (AML). It provides access to expression and methylation profiles of patient data along with their clinical characteristics from microarray and RNA-seq experiments carried out in different platfoems like Affymetrix, Illumina and Agilent. Genome-wide CRISPR-Cas9 screen data to understand cancer vulnerabilities and drug-mutational data to identify mutations that may be driving AML, effecting the response to drugs have also been incorporated. The database accomodates information published till January 2023 and are available for download. Website can be accessed via:AMLdb

Expression profiling: A technique used to measure the activity of genes in a particular tissue or cell type.

Methylation profiling: A method used to study the epigenetic modifications that occur in DNA, particularly the addition or removal of methyl groups.

CRISPR-Cas9: A type of genetic engineering technology used to edit genes in a targeted manner, which has become a powerful tool for studying gene function.

Drug-mutation data: A dataset that links specific genetic mutations with the response to different drugs or therapies.

GEO (Gene Expression Omnibus): A public repository for gene expression and other molecular biology data.

GDSC (Genomics of Drug Sensitivity in Cancer): A resource that provides information on the response of cancer cells to different drugs.

Project Achilles: A project hosted at DepMap, that uses CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing to identify cancer vulnerabilities.

COSMIC (Catalogue of Somatic Mutations in Cancer): A database of somatic mutations that occur in cancer cells, which is used to study the genetic basis of cancer.
