3D-NuS-Qplex
Quadruplexes are four-stranded secondary structures formed by guanine-rich sequences in DNA or RNA, which play important roles in diverse biological processes. 3D-Nus-Qplex (3-Dimensional Nucleic Acid Structures - Quadruplex) is a specialized web tool designed for the modeling and visualization of 3-dimensional structures of all theoretically possible nucleic acid quadruplexes. This platform currently supports the automated generation of 200 quadruplex structures, including 48 monomers, 96 dimers, 48 trimers, and 8 tetramers. The structures modelled can represent both DNA and RNA sequences, with options to include overhangs and non-G-quartet residues.
3D-Nus-Qplex generates energy-minimized models that serve as valuable starting points for molecular docking, dynamic simulations, and other computational studies, enabling researchers to better understand the behavior and interactions of quadruplex structures. Understanding the 3D structure of nucleic acid quadruplexes is crucial, as these structures play significant roles in gene regulation, genome stability, and potential therapeutic targeting. Insights into their spatial arrangement help in designing selective ligands for drug development, exploring their roles in biological processes, and constructing nanoscale molecular devices. By offering reliable 3D models, 3D-Nus-Qplex empowers scientists to investigate the structural and functional implications of quadruplexes with precision and ease.

Documentation Video
3D-NuS-Qplex generates over 600 types of quadruplex structures composed of various combinations of DNA and RNA sequences. Users can customize the model by selecting a specific motif as a template and providing the corresponding sequence information for their desired structure. The following video tutorial demonstrates how to design a quadruplex structure, build the structure using the tool, and shows what the generated model and output page look like.
The modeled quadruplex structures can be retrieved by entering the Molecule ID in the field provided below. Please note that Molecule IDs older than one month will be deleted from the system.
